XW-8601 Silicone Defoamer

XW-8601 Silicone Defoamer is a highly active dilutable defoaming concentrate. A small dosage is sufficient to achieve the long-lasting performance required by traditional defoamers. It is applicable to foaming systems of conventional surfactants and polymers, and is highly recommended for use in industries such as sewage treatment, papermaking and pulping, textile sizing, and industrial cleaning.

Product Performance

● The material components do not contain NP or APEO;

● The material components do not contain substances listed in the SVHC candidate list under the REACH Regulation;

● The material components do not contain substances restricted by the RoHS Directive (Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment);

● Especially in medium and high temperature (60℃-130℃) and strong alkaline (pH 10.0-14.0) environments, it can quickly eliminate foam and demonstrates outstanding foam suppression performance;

● XW-8601 Silicone Defoamer can be easily diluted into low-content emulsions.

Product Composition

It is composed of polyorganosiloxane, modified polysiloxane, silicon dioxide, emulsifiers, thickeners and other ingredients.

Product Appearance and Data

● Uniform creamy liquid, white or slightly yellow, free of sediment and visible mechanical impurities.

pH value: 6.5~8.5 (measured with precision pH test paper)

pH test paper reading: 6.0-9.0

Emulsion ionic type: Weak anionic type

Defoaming rate: (ml/s) >75

Foam suppression rate: (ml/s) >20

Application Method

● XW-8601 Silicone Defoamer can be diluted with thickened water. During the dilution process, the stirring speed shall be ≤ 60 rpm, and the stirring time is recommended not to exceed 10 minutes. For the specific dilution method, please request it from the customer service department of our company. Our company shall not be liable for any adverse consequences of the product caused by improper usage methods.

● When XW-8601 Silicone Defoamer is used on-site, it is recommended to add it at a location where the defoamer can be easily dispersed.

● The optimal addition point, dosage, addition method and dilution ratio shall be determined by the customer through tests based on the actual on-site conditions.

Packaging and Storage

● XW-8601 Silicone Defoamer is packed in 25 kg or 1000 kg IBC totes. Customized packaging is available upon negotiation if there are special requirements.

● XW-8601 Silicone Defoamer should be stored in a sealed container at a temperature of 5℃~40℃. Do not place it near heat sources or expose it to direct sunlight. Do not add acids, alkalis, salts or other substances to this product. Store it in accordance with the storage method for general chemicals. Ensure the container is sealed after use to prevent deterioration.

● XW-8601 Silicone Defoamer may freeze below 0℃. If freezing occurs, thaw it and stir it evenly (stirring speed ≤ 60 rpm), which will not affect the application effect. Under the recommended storage temperature and unopened packaging conditions, the shelf life is 10 months from the date of production.
