XW-8015 Heavy Metal Scavenger is also known as heavy metal sequestrant, heavy metal inhibitor, heavy metal flocculant, heavy metal precipitant, heavy metal remover, etc.
● XW-8015 Heavy Metal Scavenger is mainly used for the precipitation of heavy metals in wastewater during wet flue gas desulfurization. Metals are indispensable in many production processes, but their use generates wastewater containing heavy metals.
● Chemical precipitation is commonly used, where chemical precipitants such as sodium hydroxide or calcium hydroxide are added during the neutralization process to precipitate heavy metal ions. However, when the wastewater contains complexing agents, these agents keep heavy metals in a dissolved state, preventing the formation of hydroxide precipitates. As a result, the residual concentration of heavy metals is high, failing to meet environmental protection requirements.
● XW-8015 Heavy Metal Scavenger solves the problem of treating wastewater containing complexes and heavy metals. It can react rapidly with heavy metal ions in wastewater at room temperature to form water-insoluble salts. Adding a small amount of flocculant will produce flocculent precipitates, thereby achieving the purpose of removing heavy metals. Practical application has confirmed that the treatment method is simple, and the environmental protection requirements can be met after a single treatment even when multiple heavy metal ions coexist in the wastewater.

1. Before actual use, a small-scale test with a volume of 1-10 L can be conducted in accordance with the above-mentioned process.
2. Adjust the pH value of the wastewater to between 7 and 10 during treatment for optimal results.
3. Determine the dosage of XW-8015 Heavy Metal Scavenger based on the content of heavy metal ions in the wastewater.
4. It can be added to the wastewater continuously or in batches, followed by thorough and uniform stirring for approximately 30 minutes.
5. Add an appropriate amount of organic flocculant, which can be non-ionic, strongly cationic or strongly anionic types. Stir rapidly first, then slowly.
6. Filter and separate the metal precipitates; the filtered water will meet the discharge standards.
Depending on the actual situation, alkali neutralization can be used first to remove most of the heavy metal ions, and the remaining heavy metal ion complexes can be precipitated with XW-8015 Heavy Metal Scavenger.
1. XW-8015 Heavy Metal Scavenger is packed in plastic drums with a net weight of 25 kg or 200 kg. Store it in a well-ventilated and cool place. The shelf life is one year.
2. XW-8015 Heavy Metal Scavenger has stable chemical properties, is safe to use and non-hazardous. Protective equipment should be worn during use.
3. If it splashes into the eyes, rinse them with water immediately for more than 15 minutes and consult a doctor for an eye examination.
