XW-0402 Non-oxidizing Biocide And Algaecide

XW-0402 Biocide and Algaecide boasts the advantages of high efficiency, broad spectrum, low toxicity, fast and long-lasting efficacy, strong permeability, easy application, and a wide applicable temperature and pH range. It is suitable for use as a biocide, algaecide and slime stripper in industrial circulating cooling water systems of power plants, chemical industry, chemical fertilizer production, oil refining, metallurgy and other industries.

Application Method and Efficacy

● When XW-0402 Biocide and Algaecide is used as a slime stripper, the dosage is 150-300 mg/L.

● When used as a biocide, XW-0402 Biocide and Algaecide should be dosed once every 3-7 days, with a dosage of 80-100 mg/L.

● XW-0402 Biocide and Algaecide can be used simultaneously with oxidizing biocides such as chlorine, but shall not be used in cooling water systems containing sulfides.

● The combined use of XW-0402 Biocide and Algaecide with quaternary ammonium salts yields better results.

● When XW-0402 Biocide and Algaecide is used as an industrial bactericide and mildewcide, the general concentration is 0.05-0.4%.

Packaging and Storage

XW-0402 Biocide and Algaecide is packed in plastic drums, 25 kg per drum or as per customer requirements. The storage period is ten months.

Safety and Protection

XW-0402 Biocide and Algaecide is corrosive to the skin, which may cause skin burns and allergic dermatitis, with the effects lasting for several hours.

Direct contact with skin and eyes is strictly prohibited. Protective glasses, rubber gloves and other labor protection supplies shall be worn during operation.

In case of skin contact, immediately remove contaminated clothing and shoes, rinse the affected area with plenty of clean water for at least 15 minutes, apply urea acetate ointment or burn ointment to the affected part, and seek medical attention immediately.
