Before the raw water undergoes pretreatment for reverse osmosis (RO) equipment, it usually needs to be chlorinated to inhibit the growth of microorganisms. However, residual chlorine will irreversibly oxidize and damage the reverse osmosis membrane. The active components in XW-0603 RO Membrane Reducing Agent can rapidly decompose residual chlorine and protect the membrane from oxidation. This agent is used to remove free chlorine and combined chlorine in the feed water of membrane systems.

The dosage is determined by the chlorine content. Generally speaking, 2 ppm of this agent (diluted with demineralized water or other soft water) is required to remove 1 ppm of residual chlorine. The diluted solution with a maximum concentration of 20% must be used up within one week, as oxygen will render this product ineffective.
XW-0603 Reducing Agent is packed in plastic drums, with a net weight of 25 kg per drum, or in 1000 kg IBC totes. It features stable physical and chemical properties. Store it in a cool place, with a shelf life of twelve months.
Wear latex gloves, protective goggles and protective clothing. In case of splashing into the eyes, immediately rinse the eyes with plenty of clean water and seek medical attention promptly. Prevent the product from spilling onto cement floors to avoid corrosion; if the floor is corroded, rinse it with clean water immediately.
