When water flows through the comet packing, suspended solids, impurities, etc., in the water are adsorbed on the fiber surface and intercepted between or on the fibers, thereby achieving filtration and purification. As filtration proceeds, impurities gradually accumulate on the surface of the filter media. When a certain level is reached, backwashing is required. Through the reverse impact of water flow and the swinging and flinging of the comet tail, the intercepted impurities are washed away, restoring the filtration performance of the filter media.
