Structural composition
Combined packing is composed of fiber bundles, plastic sheets, sleeves, and central ropes. Its structure is modified by changing the plastic disc buckle into a double-ring large plastic ring, and aldehyde fibers or polyester filaments are pressed on the ring of the ring to make the fiber bundles evenly distributed; the inner ring is snowflake-shaped plastic branches.

Features

Large specific surface area: The fiber bundles are evenly distributed and numerous, combined with the snowflake-shaped plastic branches, giving the packing a large specific surface area (up to about 860 m²/m³). This provides more attachment space for microorganisms, facilitating their growth and reproduction, thereby enhancing the ability to treat organic matter in sewage.

Non-clogging and non-agglomerating: The special structural design maintains a certain gap between the packing materials, allowing sewage to flow smoothly. The fiber bundles will not entangle or agglomerate with each other, avoiding clogging and ensuring the stable operation of the sewage treatment system.

Rapid biofilm formation: The material and structure of the combined packing are conducive to the attachment and growth of microorganisms. Under suitable conditions, it can generally reach the full-load operation standard within 6-7 days. The film formation time is half that of other packing materials, enabling rapid start-up of the sewage treatment system and shortening the commissioning period.

Long service life: The adopted materials such as polypropylene have good corrosion resistance and anti-aging properties. Under normal use conditions, the service life of combined packing can reach more than 5 years, reducing the frequency of packing replacement and lowering operating costs.

Resistance to high-load impact: It can withstand high concentrations of organic pollutants and large hydraulic load impacts. When the quality and quantity of sewage change, it can still maintain good treatment effects, making the sewage treatment system highly stable and adaptable.

● Good aeration performance: The snowflake-shaped plastic branches in the inner ring can not only form biofilms but also effectively cut bubbles, improving the oxygen transfer rate and utilization efficiency. This enables sufficient exchange between water, gas, and biofilms, facilitating the metabolic activities of aerobic microorganisms and thus better treating organic matter in water.

Application Fields

Industrial wastewater treatment: Widely used in the treatment of industrial wastewater from industries such as printing and dyeing, papermaking, pharmaceuticals, wool spinning, silk, chemicals, and petroleum. It can effectively remove organic matter, heavy metal ions, and other pollutants from wastewater, enabling the wastewater to meet discharge standards.

Domestic sewage treatment: Suitable for the treatment of urban domestic sewage. It can be used as a microbial carrier in equipment such as contact oxidation tanks to degrade and transform organic matter in sewage, achieving sewage purification and improving effluent quality.

High-concentration wastewater treatment: It also has a good effect on the anaerobic treatment of high-concentration wastewater from hemp spinning, alcohol, sugar refining, food fermentation, etc. It can promote the growth and metabolism of microorganisms under anaerobic conditions, reduce the organic matter content in wastewater, and create conditions for subsequent aerobic treatment or advanced treatment.
